An exclusive selection of Origa shoes are treated with ion-mask™ nano-technology. This groundbreaking technology ensures that once treated each of our shoes become hydrophobic or 'water-hating'. The result is fantastic stain resistant protection against wine, grass, champagne and other little accidents!
In the images below you can clearly see the difference between the treated and untreated silk used in our shoes. Before treatment and wine just soaks straight into the material. After treatment and the material repels the liquid to prevent staining and blooming of the material.
Please note shoes marked 'A' with ion-mask™ or dye option cannot be dyed after ion-masking and are un-treated at point of sale. All other shoes marked 'B' are pre ion-masked at point of sale and cannot be dyed.
